A healthy head of hair with a free healthy scalp flakes is a wonderful thing. So wonderful and desired, in fact, that there is a huge market that caters exclusively to her. Walk down any hair product aisle and you’ll be overwhelmed with so many options you have for shampoos, conditioners, rinses, sprays and dyes (to name a few things.)
Make Your Hair Thicker Naturally & Shiny
You could spend days and a lot of money trying to find out exactly what chemical concoction that promises to work wonders. If you want to break the routine, try some of their own products at home. I have found that are simple and pure, and more effective than many of the things that I bought in stores.
1. Nettle Hair Tonic
Rich in iron, a rinse made with nettles can help combat hair loss / promote hair growth. Drinking nettle tea can also help fight hair loss, such as iron can help with circulation to the scalp, in turn, feeds the hair growth. Nettles also help with an imbalance of sebum (oil produced by its pores) that can make a difference if you suffer from dandruff or dry scalp. For something that is a pain to even brush against, it is a wonderful herb when used fully!
You will need …
Great -A (with gloves) handful of fresh nettle leaves or 5 tablespoons of dried nettle
-2 Cups of fresh water
-A Few drops of your favorite essential oil
A bottle storage
If using fresh nettle put in a pot and cover with 2 cups of water and bring to a boil, then let simmer for 10 minutes. Cool, then strain the liquid, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil and refrigerate for up to six months. If using dry nettle, bring water to a boil and then pour over the grass, let stand for 20 minutes before cooling, effort, and adding essential oil. To use, pour over your hair in the shower and massage or combing in, let stand for 5-10 minutes, then rinse.
2. Horsetail Hair Tonic
Horsetail naturally contains silica, which is actually more useful than simply to fill those pesky little packets that come with many products these days. As a natural substance, silica can help keep hair growing strong, and avoid dropping / thinning.
You will need …
-A Handful of fresh horse tail
Bring a pot of water to boil, then reduce to a simmer and add the ponytail. Let stand for 20 minutes, then strain the liquid. After shampooing pour the cooled liquid over your hair and wrap your head in a warm towel for 20 minutes, then rinse.
Grind up 2 tablespoons parsley seeds, and cut enough to fill ½ cup rosemary. Bring several cups of water to boil and then add the herbs and let it rest for 20 minutes. Cool and strain the liquid, then pour the rinse over your head and wrap in a warm towel for an hour. Do not rinse and allow hair to dry naturally.
When it comes down to it, a healthy scalp and healthy hair is what really looks good, just no replacement, and no getting around it. Instead of using chemicals to try to force her hair in a certain look, try a natural tonic to nourish the bottom and make your hair look good, of course.
